An agency that treats your file like it matters.
Discovery Pathway Pvt. Ltd. is an international education consultancy headquartered in Banepa, Kavrepalanchok. Established in 2023 and registered with the Ministry of Education, Science & Technology, we hold the technical and certification requirements the sector demands.
Our counsellors guide students into universities and colleges across South Korea, Japan, Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Germany and Finland. Several have visited the campuses they recommend, and IELTS, PTE and Japanese classes run in-house rather than being outsourced.
Four years of practice has taught us that most refused applications are not refused for lack of merit. They are refused for lack of preparation — a thin financial file, an unexplained gap, an undeclared earlier refusal. Our process closes those gaps before anything is submitted.
Our purpose
To turn an ambition to study abroad into a documented, defensible application — and to be honest with a student when the answer should be “not this country, not this year.”
Who we serve
Students and families across Kavrepalanchok and the wider Bagmati province, and partner institutions abroad who need reliably prepared, verified applicant files from Nepal.
Discovery Pathway at a glance
Our record to date, across all destinations.
Vision & Mission
I · Vision
To be the consultancy Nepali families trust with the decision, not just the paperwork — known for accurate advice, prepared files, and students who arrive abroad ready for what they find.
II · Mission
To match every student to a destination, institution and budget realistic for their profile, and to prepare each application to a standard that survives close scrutiny by an admissions office and an immigration officer alike.
We deliver language and test preparation, documentation, admission and visa filing as one continuous service, and we tell students what a decision will actually cost them before they commit to it.
The standard we hold ourselves to
No guaranteed outcomes, no hidden charges, and no application submitted that we would not be willing to defend line by line.
Our values
Six commitments that decide how we work when a case gets difficult.
Full disclosure
Earlier refusals — a student's or a sponsor's — are declared and explained, never buried. Hidden history is what breaks a file under scrutiny.
Student-centred, not assembly line
Every applicant is evaluated individually on academic record, financial position, strengths and long-term plans. No two files are treated the same way.
One counsellor
The person who assesses eligibility in week one stays reachable through visa filing and departure. No handoffs, no repeating your story.
Costs on the table
Tuition, living costs, service fees and third-party charges are broken down in full before a student commits to anything.
Compliance
We work within the Ministry of Education framework, ECAN's code of conduct, and each destination country's rules for education agents.
Long-term outcomes
We measure ourselves by completions and careers, not enrolments. A student who drops out in year one is not a success.
Eight destinations, managed end to end.
Every route below is one we handle ourselves — from institution selection through to visa filing.
South Korea
D-2 (Degree) · D-4 (Language)
Japan
Student Visa (Ryugaku)
Australia
Subclass 500 (Student)
United Kingdom
Student Route
Canada
Study Permit
United States
F-1 Student Visa
Germany
National (D) Visa — Study
Finland
Residence Permit — Studies
South Korea is where our record is strongest — degree placement on the D-2 route and language-track study on D-4, backed by authorised representation for Gimhae University and Far East University and long-standing relationships across the Busan region.
What we do
Country, university & course selection
We weigh academic strengths, financial capacity, subjects of interest and long-term plans to identify the right course at the right institution — and rule out the options that do not fit.
Test preparation & registration
IELTS, PTE and Japanese language classes run in-house with dedicated instructors. We also handle scheduling and registration for TOEFL, GRE, GMAT and SAT, and advise where scores can be reported.
Application preparation
Transcripts, letters of recommendation and the Statement of Purpose are prepared to a strategy built around each applicant's profile, not a template.
Follow-up & securing admission
We chase institutions directly and track every decision, so offers are secured in the shortest realistic time and no query goes unanswered.
Visa guidance
Documentation that establishes academic genuineness and financial stability, disclosure strategy for any refusal history, and mock interviews run until the answers hold up.
Loans, forex & travel
Support with educational loan applications and foreign exchange formalities, plus travel planning, airport pick-up and temporary accommodation where a student needs it.
Pre-departure orientation
Most of our students have never travelled overseas. We brief them on accommodation, banking, transport, part-time work rules and the cultural transition before they board, not after.
Soft skills & personality development
Resume preparation and interview coaching for the part-time and graduate roles students will apply for once they arrive.
Six stages. One destination.
Indicative timelines. Each stage begins only once the previous one is genuinely complete.
Guidance & destination fit
1–3 days · free
A no-obligation consultation mapping academic background, budget and long-term goals against realistic country and university options.

What students go on to
Degree pathways
Bachelor's and master's study in business, IT, engineering, hospitality and health, with credit for prior Nepali qualifications where recognised.
Scholarship-supported study
Merit and language-linked awards at partner institutions that cut the real cost of a degree substantially for eligible applicants.
Post-study work routes
The UK Graduate Route, Australian post-study work rights and Korean job-seeking pathways — explained before departure, not after graduation.
Language-to-degree progression
Language-track enrolment in Korea and Japan converting into degree study once proficiency requirements are met.
Several of our own staff are former students who took these routes and returned to counsel the next intake — the clearest measure we have that the advice was sound.
What students tell us matters most
Compliance & recruitment ethics
Discovery Pathway operates as a registered education consultancy under the Government of Nepal and works within the codes of the associations we belong to.
Regulatory position
Our commitments
This page summarises internal policy as at 2026 and is not legal advice. Registration details and full terms are set out in our service agreement and available on request.
A message from our Chief Executive Officer
Empowering students through quality education, on a wider horizon, is the mission we set out with when Discovery Pathway opened in Banepa in 2023. Understanding how competitive the environment has become, we work to put genuinely good options in front of students — options matched to their record and their budget, not to whatever is easiest to sell.
A globally recognised degree changes what a career can look like. Our service is built to support that decision from the first conversation through to arrival: course and country selection, test preparation, documentation, admission, the visa file, and the practical business of settling in somewhere new.
Every file that crosses this office belongs to a family that has usually spent years, and often savings they cannot easily replace, to reach the point of applying. That is the weight we work under, and it is why we would rather lose a client than submit an application we know is weak. Your consultation costs nothing, and you will leave it knowing where you actually stand.

Amit Neupane
A message from our Managing Director
As Managing Director, my job is less about the students I meet in person and more about the systems that decide what happens to the ones I don't — how a counsellor is trained, how a file is checked before it leaves our office, and how quickly we say no when a course or a country isn't right for someone.
Since 2023 we've built that discipline deliberately. Every application that goes out under our name carries the same standard: financial documents that hold up, a study plan that matches the student's actual academic record, and a visa file with no gaps left for an officer to question. That consistency is what a five-person team competing against agencies ten times our size has to run on.
I spend a good part of each week on the parts families rarely see — renewing institutional agreements, sitting in on counsellor training, reviewing refused cases to find what we missed. None of it is glamorous, but it's the difference between an agency that places students and one that only submits applications on their behalf.
To every student who has trusted us with their file, and every parent who has trusted us with their savings: that trust is the only asset this company actually has. We intend to keep it.
